WELCOME TO MY TRAVEL BLOG

I have always enjoyed traveling, even if it meant sleeping in a tent when I was younger. I prefer hotels and cruise cabins now, but the motivation is the same...an adventure waiting to happen. Sometimes you will find me traveling with my husband and/or family. Sometimes I will travel alone, and sometimes I will travel with friends. I hope you find it entertaining to keep up to date with me as I explore the world around me. Warning...I like to take pictures of food so don't read if you're hungry. More adventures await...see ya soon...Amy.

We are staying at the Hotel Indigo on Waterloo in Glasgow, Scotland. This hotel smells fantastic and everything is clean and fresh with vibrant up to date styling. In fact EVERY time we walked in, mom would say "this place smells so good"! I loved all of the bright colors. The coffee/tea service has a hot water pot and a french press pot with real coffee to press or instant coffee, teas, and cocoa. There is also a little package of Shortbread which was delicious! After eating one, I hid the other ones so they would bring more....and they did! Breakfast was included in our rate and was either a nice continental or you could add off the cooked breakfast menu. The raspberry (or cherry) danish were to die for! The hotel is located within walking distance of lots of places to eat and coffee shops as well as being close to the city center. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I ever find myself back in Glasgow. Tripadvisor.com comes through yet again!!
