WELCOME TO MY TRAVEL BLOG

I have always enjoyed traveling, even if it meant sleeping in a tent when I was younger. I prefer hotels and cruise cabins now, but the motivation is the same...an adventure waiting to happen. Sometimes you will find me traveling with my husband and/or family. Sometimes I will travel alone, and sometimes I will travel with friends. I hope you find it entertaining to keep up to date with me as I explore the world around me. Warning...I like to take pictures of food so don't read if you're hungry. More adventures await...see ya soon...Amy.

London Hotel: The Nadler Kensington

In past visits to London, we have always stayed at Base 2 Stay Earl's Court. This is the same hotel only now it is The Nadler Kensington. I was looking forward to seeing how it had changed and I was not disappointed! Just like the old Base 2 Stay this hotel has a kitchenette and overall everything is just freshened up and super nice. We were around the corner from a grocery that we found on our last visit but we just didn't have time to go there this trip. We apparently had everything we needed for our short stay here. My favorite thing about this hotel is the location to the Underground stop. It is literally right around the corner!

the bed was firm but comfortable with light blocking blinds and curtains.

loved the simple but colorful artwork on the walls

the kitchenette was welcomed especially the NESPRESSO machine! I can only drink decaf and let them know in advance. I was happy to see all decaf capsules just for me!

nice amenities

plenty of shelf space for my "stuff" and the glass was adequate to stop splashing. I was thankful for a shower instead of just a tub.
