I have always enjoyed traveling, even if it meant sleeping in a tent when I was younger. I prefer hotels and cruise cabins now, but the motivation is the same...an adventure waiting to happen. Sometimes you will find me traveling with my husband and/or family. Sometimes I will travel alone, and sometimes I will travel with friends. I hope you find it entertaining to keep up to date with me as I explore the world around me. Warning...I like to take pictures of food so don't read if you're hungry. More adventures await...see ya soon...Amy.

K&K Cayre Paris: Paris, France

Snowing in front of the K&K Cayre

the du Bac metro station is directly across the street in the median.
very comfortable beds and always clean and fresh. This is a "double" which is two twins pushed together

plenty of room to walk around the beds

a shower splash guard!

The breakfast buffet is included in the price. It is always fresh, varied and plentiful

i really enjoy the croissants, pain au chocolat and the baby sugar buns

the brioche on the right was different every day. I believe this day it was apricot and one day it was pistachio and green!

my favorite, chocolat chaud (hot chocolate) made with milk

The Hotel K&K is a repeat hotel for our family. This hotel is conveniently located in the St. Germain area of Paris directly across the street from the du Bac metro station. My favorite chocolate shops are scattered in this area and I can get to them rather quickly from this hotel. I always check the price of the K&K against some of my other favorites when traveling to Paris and sometimes it's the less expensive option. This trip was one of those times.
